I am hanging to my dear life to XP. Vista really sucks and hopfully by 2010, Windows 7.0 will be out and functional.

I use XP, purely because its stable. i have used VISTA, its ok, it looks nice, but tends to be slower, its ok if you have a blasing fast machine to run it on, but even then if you put XP on that same machine then XP is faster. I also use linux on a laptop cos i like messin around with it =)

Linux is cool too. Sometimes I wonder why people want to pay for Mcrosoft products when they can get free open source softward.

Probably because windows is the most supported OS. Most programs and games work with windows.

You are probably right but as more and more applications can down run on Linux, hopefully more people will migrate to the Linux platform.

I hope people do move to the linux platform, its excellent, the only reason that i dont use it every day is that i produce music and there are none of the industry standard applications supported on linux =( they are supported on the mac though, so its not that big a leap to port them from the mac to linux, all they really mneed to do is to change the gui hooks =)
